JV Team Welcomes Coach Morrison Back From Retirement
Dan Morrison, long-time
Tennis Coach at Hayes High School, is returning to coach the JV Team on Friday, September 1 for the rest of the season. State retirement policy for Ohio teachers require they take two months away from any public school employment once they officially retire. We're glad to have coach Morrison back, and want to thank
Coaches Scott Jarrett and Charlie Thompson for filling in during Coach Morrison's absence.

In varsity action, winning for Hayes were Katie Hoovler at second singles, with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Aesha Brown, and Bridget Fahey and Angela Kolosky at second doubles by a 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 score over Brittany Lambert and Teresa LaRue. In doubles, Alaina Hurley and Kelsey Davis beat Brooke Norris and Kathleen Shephard 6-3, 6-3 for the Pacers, while Olentangy's second doubles team of Ally Bayless and Alyssa Feyh beat Chelsea Pennington and Jen Kolosky 2-6, 4-6.

Courtney Gerhart and Katie Hoolver finished with one win over Buckeye Valley and one loss to Big Walnut to earn third place overall. Chelsea Pennington had one win singles over Buckeye Valley to go 1-2 for the day, and Alania Hurley and Kelsey Davis finished 1-2 on the day with a win in doubles over Buckeye Valley.
